The Dinner Party is on hiatus at the moment.  For three years, it was an ongoing monthly alternative venue for experimental dance, music and performance art. The first production was April 1, 2008 at the Warehouse Theater in Washington, DC as the vision of Amanda Abrams, Lotta Lundgren and Ilana Silverstein.

The Dinner Party aims:
*To sustain an alternative venue for in-progress and experimental performance
*To encourage local dancers, musicians and other performers to create new work
*To present pieces that may not be fully polished or ready for a larger venue
*To facilitate relationships between artists for future collaborations
*To facilitate a dialogue between artists and their audience through informal post-show discussions.
