My goal as a dance artist is to connect with others through movement through performance, arts healing practices and social interactions. As a performer and choreographer, I reveal how many of us mask ourselves as we perform throughout our daily life and online presence. As an artist working in healthcare communities, I reacquaint people with their resilient bodies. My communities are fluid, ripe for new connections with collaborators, confidants, mentors and seekers. The work worth making holds deep meaning for me and hopefully for my audience. I believe my work never reaches the end point, as there is always another perspective of the work to study, a new avenue to explore and more research to do.
