My goal as a dance artist is to connect with others through movement, through performance, arts healing practices, interdisciplinary collaborations, and relationships. As a performer and choreographer, I reveal the masks we wear as we perform throughout our daily life, online and face-to-face. As an artist working in healthcare communities, I reacquaint people with their resilient bodies. My communities are fluid, ripe for new connections with collaborators, confidants, mentors and seekers. The work worth making holds deep meaning for me and hopefully for my audience. I believe my work never reaches the end point, as there is always another perspective of the work to study, a new avenue to explore, and more research to do.
